High-Tech Institute of Nashville offers a certificate in graphic design and animation. The training program develops knowledge and skills in the creation of images and graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Flash, skills in creating digital video and audio files, animation and three-dimensional images, and the training to create interactive Web sites. Upon graduation, students can expect to be qualified to work as a desktop publisher, Web developer, multimedia graphic designer, graphic Web developer, or a multimedia specialist.
High-Tech Institute was first formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1982. Twenty-five years later it operates nine schools nationwide, on 21 campuses in fourteen states. HTI's mission statement explains their goal of offering a highly-instructional, real-world education that qualifies students to immediately enter the profession upon graduation.
High-Tech Institute offers financial assistance from various programs comprised of federal, state, and institutional funds. The programs include grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study.
