Baton Rouge School of Computers is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Baton Rouge is situated on the Mississippi River, and is Louisiana's capital city. Baton Rouge offers a Downtown Walking Tour that includes such sites as the Old State Capitol, Louisiana Art and Science Museum, the USS Kidd and the Old Governor's Mansion. Nature lovers can enjoy the beach at LSU Lake, fishing at Blackwater Conservation Area, wildlife at the Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, the Botanic Gardens at Independence Park, camping at the Farr Park Campground, native plants and fauna at the Cohn Arboretum, or sky viewings at the Highland Road Park Observatory.

BRSC offers a Webmaster diploma program that includes courses in Web development, designing human interfaces, and Web server administration. Students gain a working knowledge of server administration and multimedia technologies and are trained to manage the creation and construction of Web sites. The program can be completed in less than one year. BRSC also offers a two-year AOS degree program in network engineering in which students learn to design, install, manage, and maintain a local area computer network.

BRSC does not offer any school-funded scholarships at this time. The school does provided financial aid services, and urges all perspective students and their parents or spouses to schedule an appointment with a financial aid officer to determine the types of student aid that may be available.

BRSC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The school provides student advising from department directors and instructors, available to enrolled students at any time. Certificates for perfect attendance and proficiency are awarded to students regularly, and a student of the month program is also offered. The school emphasizes individual progress, allowing each student to excel at his or her own rate. Class size never exceeds 25 students per instructor. The instructors also make themselves available to students by appointment for additional academic assistance and tutoring. The school maintains a career placement service for graduates.
