About Antonelli College
Antonelli College is a small two-year college with a campus in Jackson, Mississippi. Jackson hosts large annual events including a parade honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Mississippi State Fair. The city is also home to many historical landmarks and museums, plus a zoological park and LeFleur's Bluff State Park, offering boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, and golfing.
Antonelli College offers two-year Occupational Associate of Applied Business degree programs. Programs available at the Jackson campus include graphic design and interior design. The graphic design program stresses fundamental design theory and practices examined in real-world design projects. Student creativity is supported with proficiency in computer graphics so that graduates can enter the workforce with the skills needed in today's technological society. The interior design program focuses on training graduates in the ability to manipulate and coordinate space usage and color, shape, texture and fit of furnishings to express the desires of the client.
Antonelli College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, Arlington, Virginia. The Jackson campus offers many student activities, including a choir, craft, literary and writing clubs, and a community service annual project. In addition, there are several academic or program-specific student organizations available including the Alpha Beta Kappa Honors Society, Student Advisory Committee, the American Society of Interior Designers, and the Graphic Arts Designers Club. Antonelli also offers career services to current students and graduates including resume and cover letter assistance, mock interviewing, field connections and portfolio reviews.
