Aims Community College is located in Greeley, Colorado, 50 miles Northeast of Denver and 30 miles East of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Greeley offers everything from the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra concerts to local rodeos. There are local parks with fishing lakes and picnic grounds for the outdoorsmen, and galleries and museums for those seeking a little culture. Greeley is also home to the Centennial Village Museum, featuring 32 structures depicting the architecture, lifestyle and people of northeastern Colorado between 1860 and 1920.

The Communication Media department at Aims offers an AAS degree in communication media with a specialty in digital imaging and publishing. This program features studies in digital photography and Web design. Available Certificate programs include audio production featuring sound design and digital imaging and publishing. The department offers elective courses in animation and videography as well. The graphic design and rich media department features AAS programs in graphic technology or interactive design. Interactive design students may choose either a Web design or animation emphasis. Available certificate programs include graphic tech pre-press, animation and animation specialist, game design and game design specialist, and Web design and Web design specialist. Aims also has a visual and performing arts department offering Associate of Arts degrees in design or fine art. Associates degree programs require completion of an internship for graduation, and some require portfolio submission as well. Associates degree programs are generally completed within two years, and certificate programs can be completed in as little as six months.

The college offers the Aims Community College Scholarship through the Aims Community College Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to support student academic success. Scholarship recipients can enroll in any degree or certificate program available at Aims. Full and part-time students and new and returning students benefit from these scholarship awards every year.

Aims offers three campuses, day and evening courses, online course offerings, and a top-ranked faculty.
