Shake your Rights! This is the 60th anniversary for UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights). In partnership with ART for the World and NABA Nuova Accedmia di Belle Art - Milano, and with the patronage of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), this event demands a worldwide contest open to students enrolled in fine arts colleges. The contest promoters want to celebrate the Declaration through six main themes: Dignity and Justice, Gender, Participation, Development, Culture and Environment. Artists must evoke these themes through the realization of creative posters. The winning poster will be printed in different languages and distribute by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to all its offices.
Deadline for this contest is 14 September 2008. Visit the www.shakeyourrights.org to learn more.
