It seems that there has been a lot of robot love when it comes to contests of late, and another one has surfaced that may be of interest to all robot fans and graphic design artists everywhere.

Foldees, the world’s only ongoing greeting card contest, is announcing its Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto Design Competition.

The rules for submitting entries are simple. You can design a card with any graphics you want, as long as it incorporates some kind of robot in it.

What kind of robots? It is all up to your imagination. It could be a cyborg, an android, or even a cake baking robot. The sky is the limit.
.
Entries will be judged not only creativity and design, but will be screened for improper use of copyrighted characters or likenesses.

In other words, any submissions containing these elements may be disqualified. Parodies of copyrighted images are allowed, while satire is not. If you are not sure about which category your artwork falls into, click here for more information.

Foldees will only accept vector graphic art (.ai, .eps, .svg, .drw). You can download the contest template by clicking here. The best entries may be returned in order to provide suggestions, comments, or consultation on the designs before they are formally accepted to the contest.
