National Geographic Magazine has long held a reputation for stunning photography and images.
Now is your chance to throw your hat into the ring and compete for a spot as a winner in the National Geographic International Photography Contest.
If you are selected as a winner, you’ll receive a digital camera kit (valued at $1,000), entry into the upcoming Worldwide International Photography Contest sponsored by National Geographic, plus having your photo image published in the magazine.

Up to six submissions may be entered in the following categories: People, Places, and Nature.
There is an entry fee of $12 per photo submitted. To submit your photos, click here to register.
A partial list of requirements for submission is stated by National Geographic:
*All digital files must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image)
*Photographs must have been taken within two (2) years before the date of entry and may not previously have won an award in the National Geographic International Photography Contest or any National Geographic Traveler photo contest in the last three years
*Minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable. Hand tinting is acceptable, as is cropping
*Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud
*The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Contest entrant
*The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsor, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content
