Invitation Card Design Contest

Are you someone who is constantly doodling on drawing pads with your ideas of greeting cards? Do you go into gift shops and inspect invitation cards and say, "Gee, I could do better than that!" If you have the talent, here's your chance to prove your skills.

Invitation Consultants, a company that specializes in wedding invitations, party invitations, and other stationary products is holding its Invitation Design Contest. Three top designs will be selected from the pool of entrants, and a winner will be selected from these finalists.

So what do you need to do to enter? Email your application and contest entries in a PDF file. For those who wish to mail their entries in, submit them to Invitation Consultants, Inc. Attn: Design Contest, 8180 Woodland Center Blvd. Tampa, FL 33614. However, be aware that you will need electronic versions of your work as well.

Your designs need to be 5.5" by 7.75" with a 1/8" bleed. All artwork should be vector. In the event that you are selected as the winner, you will be required to send InDesign files. Wording on the invitation must be relevant to the theme you have chosen, whether it be wedding, party, or gathering, etc.

Three prizes are offered:

1st prize: $1000 plus a royalty of 5% on every sale of your card by Invitation Consultants.

2nd prize: $500 plus a royalty of 5% on every sale of your card by Invitation Consultants.

3rd prize: $250 plus a royalty of 5% on every sale of your card by Invitation Consultants.

Second Chance: If you do not place in the top three, your design may still be selected for printing. You will earn a 5% royalty on every card sold of your design by Invitation Consultants.
