29th Annual Spring Photography Contest
Established in 1977, Photographer's Forum Magazine is an award-winning quarterly publication dedicated to quality reproduction of photography in the United States and Canada. Each issue strives to facilitate communication and publication experience among emerging professionals.
Their annual photography contest is one of the most respected competitions in the world. Sponsored by Canon, entrants can expect to compete against each other for $4,000 USD in cash grants plus two Canon cameras. Plus, winning Photos will be published in the November 2009 issue of Photographer's Forum Magazine. All contest finalists will be published in the hardcover book Best of Photography 2009.
The Spring Contest is open to all amateur photographers, both student and non-student, in the United States, Canada and worldwide. There is no age limit. (If you make your living as a professional photographer, you may not enter.) The College Contest is open to all high school, college, and university students in the United States, Canada, and around the world. Both full-time and part-time students may enter. You are also eligible if you have graduated within the past six months.
Entrants can either upload their images or download the entry form and mail entries. There is no limit to the number of entries, but there is a fee for each entry. Early entry deadline is 20 April 2009, final entry deadline is 11 May 2009. Only the final entry deadline will be marked on this calendar.
