Lunarpages is running a WordPress Theme Contest, where you come up with the coolest, prettiest, and “most out of this world WordPress Theme.” In exchange, you may win five years’ hosting and $1,000 cash. Or, you might win less than five years’ hosting and a little less money. Either way, you get the recognition and fame associated with being listed on Lunarpages’ PR7 blog, via their PR6 Newsletter, in their forums, and pretty much viewed by thousands and thousands of customers and WordPress enthusiasts all over the world.

Each week starting December 10th, they’ll highlight the top 5 favorites and give the Lunarpages’ community the chance to vote via a poll on the blog for a favorite theme of the week. The winner of the weekly poll is guaranteed a position in the final 12. There will be 6 weekly polls, with the last poll taken between 14-20 January 2008 (so you’ll want to have your entry in by 14 January at the latest).
