Sappi is calling for printers throughout Europe and the Middle East to submit their favorite and best printed projects for its 2008 Sappi European Printers of the Year awards.

Entries are judged in nine award categories - annual reports, books, brochures, calendars, catalogs, general print, magazines, packaging and labels and printer’s own promotion - by an international panel of independent print experts, ensuring impartiality and the broadest spectrum of technical expertise. Each entry is rated for overall impact, technical excellence and degree of difficulty as well as on factors such as dot sharpness, ink density, registration, sheet size, paper weight, screen ruling, stitching and die cutting. Sappi will present the winning printers in each category with gold, silver and bronze awards at a glamorous awards ceremony in Germany in May.
