For the first time in cycling history, a fan will design a professional team jersey. Slipstream’s “Get in the Slipstream” contest will allow fans to submit design ideas for the official 2008 Team Slipstream/Chipotle jersey. The winning design will become the official team jersey, worn by the team in and out of competition for the entire 2008 season. The winner will also receive a full team kit and jersey autographed by the team members. A panel of judges, including Doug Ellis and Jonathan Vaughters, will select the top 5 jersey designs on 21 September 2007, and the public will then be invited to vote for the winning jersey.
