NOTE: I’m not sure if Furman is calling for entries from across the U.S. or what…you might want to call first before you send your art/design.
Furman University is calling for entries in a juried exhibition titled “Earth,” which will focus on works that inform and inspire people about the natural world. Submissions must be received by 1 April.
The competition is open to all forms of art including photography, mixed media, installation, video, 3-D, or 2-D work of any kind. The public exhibition will be held at Furman University’s Library and University Center from May 1 through 26. Conservation photographer Beth Maynor Young will serve as juror for the exhibition.
Awards will be presented in three categories: High school student, college student and professional/other. A total of $900 in awards will be provided to works selected by the juror. For more information, call (864) 294-2076.
