Inspired by the wild, Durban Wild Talk Africa is a premier international wildlife, travel and culture film festival and conference which takes place in South Africa. It attracts the global wildlife, travel and culture film making industry by offering a forum for delegates to meet, network and negotiate with Commissioning Editors, Distributors and Producers.
The awards will fall under the following categories: best cinematography; best production using innovative technology; best wildlife production on a limited budget; best children’s wildlife production; best environmental and conservation/campaign production; best eco-tourism, travel and/or culture production; best newcomer.
The ROSCAR Celebratory Award, the bronze Rhino sculpture, was unveiled at the jubilant finale gala event at Wild Talk Africa 2006. This year, winners of the various categories will be presented with a ROSCAR Award at a prestigious evening event, one of the highlights of the 4-day Festival.
