Into its 4th season this year, Singapore Short Cuts is an annual showcase of outstanding short films by local filmmakers. The program features a diverse selection of Singapore short films from documentaries to animation and experimental work with post-screening discussions with the filmmakers.
Some of the filmmakers whose films have been featured in Singapore Short Cuts include Victric Thng, Eva Tang, Boo Junfeng, Wee Li Lin, Tan Pin Pin and Eric Khoo.
The 4th Singapore Short Cuts is co-organized by National Museum of Singapore and The Substation.
They are now accepting entries for recent Singapore short films made from 2006 to 2007. Deadline for submission: 15 June 2007. Visit the site for details.
