Mother Earth Design Awards (MEDA) is pleased to launch its new competition for an inspirational and practical eco-home design. The design should provide a return on investment but most important – MEDA considers the challenge as an opportunity to contribute the earth’s sustainability.
The Eco-Home Design competition is open to all 4th and 5th year architecture students. There are two components to the entry – a PowerPoint presentation of the design and a 500-750 word essay. The Grand Prize Scholarship Award will be applied toward eco-related business or education opportunities or paying off student loans.
Registration is free, and deadline for registration is 30 January 2008. Submission deadline is 15 February 2008. Visit the site to learn more.
