IMJ-VPRS Design for Print Awards 2007
The IMJ / VPRS Design for Print Awards 2007 have been set up to recognise and reward graphic design excellence across a wide range of range of printed material in Ireland. Each month a winner will be picked by a panel of judged chaired by Cameron Ross, president of the Institute of Designers in Ireland. The monthly winner will then be presented with a trophy at a celebratory lunch in Dublin’s Unicorn Restaurant. Each monthly winner will then go forward to a gala grand final in June 2007 which will be presided over by RTE broadcaster Pat Kenny.
Entries are invited from a wide range of interested parties including designers and design houses, marketing and communications professionals, advertising agencies and PR firms. The only condition is that the material being submitted must have been printed within the last twelve months. The material can quite literally be anything once it appeared in a printed format. This includes an annual report, a corporate brochure, a product wrapping, an advertisement from a magazine, newspaper or billboard. After that, all you have to do is outline why you believe that the graphic design values are worthy of an award.
A PDF file that outlines all the specifics is available at AdWorld.
